Sara Ali Khan, who is currently gearing up for the release of Metro In Dino, recently opened up about the social media trolling. Like other star kids in the industry, she also received hate online for various reasons, such as for nepotism, choice of films and acting. The actress has admitted that she has learnt how to manage the negativity online. But her mother and actress Amrita Singh, finds it harder to ignore the social media trolling. Here is what she said.

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Sara said, “Wrong karke kya kar loge. Aap rok doge. Koi likhna bandh kardega. It's very wrong. I feel very bad. My mom feels bad when she reads about it. What will I do about it? I can't change it. I can feel bad, but you just have to move on. I think we talk so much about scrutiny, social media, and other people's opinions. Like, really, what is the point? What can we do?”

She also added, “It's not gonna change. You just have to be thick-skinned. Mom's new vocabulary is thick-skinned. You know, the only thing I actually care about is you. Like I care that you're reading this. It is a give and take at home. She is like,' It's going to be okay', and I am like, 'You know, it should be fine reading this.' I think kam tavajju doh, that's it. What else?”

“When you're ripping someone apart, that's painful because you don’t really know me or my hardships. My mom knows, my family knows… My mom gets upset seeing those. She's an actress, and so am I, but at the end of the day, it's Maa-Beti,” Sara added.
