Yash's film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups has created a strong buzz among the audience. Toxic has created a challenge for other films; reports now indicate that the release date of Shraddha Kapoor's Eetha might be postponed. Eetha is currently scheduled to hit theaters on August 28.
Eetha, based on the life of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar—a renowned artist of the Tamasha and Lavani traditions—chronicles the journey of one of the most celebrated figures in Marathi folk theatre and features Shraddha Kapoor in a pivotal role.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Yash's highly anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers are now considering changing the release date to avoid a clash with Toxic.
The report states, "The producers, Maddock Films, are contemplating either releasing Itha earlier or postponing it. However, it is clear that they do not plan to release the film on the original date of August 28. An official announcement regarding the change in release date is expected in a few days."

A clash between the two films could divide the audience and impact the box office collections of both movies. Keeping this in mind, the makers will soon announce a new release date for Shraddha Kapoor's film Eetha.
