Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is the younger daughter of Rajinikanth, penned a heartfelt note for her ‘appa’ after watching his latest movie Coolie. The producer poured her heart out about how much she loves her father and the legacy he created in Indian Cinema. She mentioned Rajinikanth’s 50 years in the world of cinema is not just being part of it, but he also shaped, redefined and elevated it. Showcasing her excitement, Soundarya also revealed that she would want to watch the last 10 minutes of the film again and again.

Soundarya Rajinikanth tweeted, “50 years, Appa. You haven’t just been part of cinema … you’ve shaped it, redefined it, elevated it, and carried it into places it had never been before. You’ve inspired generations, set benchmarks, and become the heartbeat of the industry. I’m a proud daughter, and I love you more than I can ever say The last 10 minutes flashback of Coolie — I’ll watch again and again, and keep cheering every single time You’re the best, Appa. The one and only. Thalaivar Nirandharam.”

Talking about Coolie, the Tamil film had a box office opening of Rs 65 crore in India and around 170 crore gross worldwide. It has been marked as one of the biggest openers of the Kollywood industry. Coolie also had a cameo of Aamir Khan as Dahaa. It also created a buzz since the announcement.

Apart from Khan and Rajinikanth, the film also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Upendra Rao, Sathyaraj, Reba Monica John and Monisha Blessy in key roles. Coolie has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The action thriller has a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Coolie is a special film as it marks the legacy that Rajinikanth has created over 5 decades in the film industry.
