Dharmendra Health Update: Bollywood actor Sunny Deol recently lost his temper at paparazzi stationed outside his father Dharmendra’s residence in Juhu, Mumbai. The incident occurred just a day after the veteran actor was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been admitted for over ten days due to health concerns. Videos from the scene show Sunny confronting photographers and scolding them for invading his family’s privacy has gone viral.
Sunny Deol’s reaction came after a viral video circulated online showing an unwell Dharmendra in a frail condition, reportedly filmed without consent. Furious at the insensitivity, the Gadar 2 star accused the media of crossing ethical boundaries for sensational coverage. In a heated exchange, Sunny even used strong language, expressing how deeply disturbed he was by the intrusion. “Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, aapke ghar mein bacche hain... sharam nahi aati?” he said emotionally, urging them to show basic respect.

Following his discharge, the Deol family issued an official statement urging everyone to respect Dharmendra’s privacy. The note read, “Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from speculation and respect the family’s privacy.” Earlier, the 89-year-old actor had reassured fans of his strength after undergoing an eye graft surgery, saying, “Dharmendra abhi bhi strong hai.” His son Sunny had also informed reporters that the actor’s cataract surgery earlier this year went well and there was no cause for worry.

Dharmendra’s Upcoming Project
Currently, Dharmendra is gearing up for Ikkis, which also stars Agastya Nanda in lead role. He was posthumously awarded the decoration for his sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of just 21. The movie is scheduled for a December release this year.
