Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Release Date: The first look of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor from their much-awaited movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has finally been unveiled. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Maniesh Paul in lead roles. It is backed by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The makers introduced Varun as Sunny Sanskari and Janhvi as Tulsi Kumari in this romantic comedy drama. Not only did they surprise fans with the first look posters but also with the release date of the movie. The new date will clash with Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 and other movies releasing on the same day at the box office.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Release And First Look

On Monday, film production house Dharma Productions shared Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's first look posters from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Varun can be seen smiling while posing with folded hands in the picture. Dressed in an embroidered outfit with blingy jewellery and sunglasses.

Janhvi can be seen in a golden saree look with a caption introducing her character, "Dikhne mein bholi bhaali, chanchal pyaari…Lekin andar se melodramatic like Meena Kumari!!!". Along with the poster unveiling, the makers announced the release date. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will hit cinemas on 2nd October. This romantic comedy was initially slated for release on 12 September, but due to some release issues, it was delayed. Now, makers have officially announced the new premiere date.

This project marks Varun’s third collaboration with director Shashank Khaitan after successful ventures such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari also marks the reunion of Varun and Janhvi after Bawaal.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Vs Kantara Chapter 1 Clash

With its new release date, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will face a box office clash with Rishab Shetty's Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1.

The movie is a prequel to blockbuster Kannada movie Kantara that released in 2022. Backed by Hombale Films, Kantara chapter 1 is being made on grand scale with high budget.

Besides these two, Harshvardhan Rane starrer Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is also releasing on the same date, October 2. The film also stars Sonam Bajwa.

Meanwhile, Varun is gearing up for the highly anticipated movie Border 2, co-starring Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh. Janhvi on the other hand, will be seen in the romantic film Param Sundari opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
