Superman Box Office Collection Day 2: The latest movie from director James Gunn, Superman, starring David Corenswet, is doing better than previous Hollywood productions like Jurassic World: Rebirth and Brad Pitt's F1. In India, the superhero movie's profits soared on Saturday and are almost at Rs 20 crore.
Superman earned Rs 9.25 crore in India on day two, based on preliminary estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk. The American movie made Rs 7 crore when it opened on Friday. Its sales increased by almost 32.14% on Saturday compared to Friday. The James Gunn-led superhero movie has made a total of Rs 16.25 crore.
Superman is competing with Hindi movies such as Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, Vikrant Massey-Shanaya Kapoor's Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, and Rajkummar Rao's Maalik, Anurag Basu's directed Metro...In Dino in theaters. The DC superhero was also made available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, including 3D formats, including IMAX.
Superman Worldwide Collection
Superman overtook recent foreign blockbusters like Brad Pitt's Formula One and Jurassic World: Rebirth at the Indian box office after a consistent uptick. The movie is aiming for a worldwide opening of more than $210 million, according to Deadline, which would be a great beginning for the DC Universe's new chapter under director Christopher Gunn and producer Peter Safran.
Even while the gain on Saturday solidifies a positive trend, industry observers predict that Sunday's receipts will be crucial in assessing the movie's long-term momentum, particularly in the Indian market where weekend attendance and word-of-mouth marketing continue to be crucial.
