The Telugu and Tamil versions of the movie provided the remaining amount. Strong weekend attendance and high occupancy rates, particularly during evening and night screenings across major cities, have contributed to this superhero movie's positive word-of-mouth.

Superman's earnings are commendable but they are below previous estimates that, given the intense excitement and anticipation. Nevertheless, with Rs 25 crore already secured and favourable reviews, the movie might profit from robust word-of-mouth during the upcoming workdays. James Gunn's movie is led by Man of Steel David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor.

Superman Movie Budget

Gunn's Superman was reportedly budgeted $225 million, which is the same amount as Snyder's Man of Steel, which did begin production in 2013. According to Hollywood convention, a movie must make at least 2.5 times its budget in order to pay for its production, marketing, and distribution expenses. Superman would require more than $650 million to be deemed a success. But the movie is anticipated to earn more than that.
