Superman Cast Fee REVEALED: With both well-known and new faces, the movie is expected to set a lot of records in 2025. The top three cast member's earnings from James Gunn's Superman is one of the most talked about topic post the movie's box office earnings. It is only to fair to assume that the Superman's hero would be the highest-paid actor. However, as is often the case, the money-talk was not led by Rachel Brosnahan, also known as the lady of the hour with a talent for hard-hitting journalism, Lois Lane, or David Corenswet, the leading man of the star cast, Superman himself.
Superman, which stars Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor is highest paid actor in James Gunn's movie, according to Puck News. The fact that the actor portraying the lead superhero role is often the highest paid actor, but in this instance, things are kept different. The compensation plan reportedly demonstrates director James Gunn's strategic emphasis on skill and promise rather than conventional star power while keeping a close eye on the movie's overall budget.
#Superman is the Superman film I have been waiting years for — bold, emotional, and filled with hope. David Corenswet perfectly embodies Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan is electrifying as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult is menacingly charismatic as Lex Luthor. Superman Cast Fee REVEALED
David Corenswet received $1.25 million less than Nicholas Hoult. He received $2 million for playing the lead antagonist in Superman, compared to $750,000 for Superman's David Corenswet and $750,000 for Lois Lane's Rachel Brosnahan.

David Corenswet's salary isn't exactly low by the norms of superhero debuts. Actually, his $750K is more than Cavill, Evans, or Hemsworth earned from their very first paid roles. However, compared to other recent first-time leads like Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) or Ezra Miller (The Flash), who received $5 million and $3 million, respectively, $750K begins to appear quite paltry by today's standards, particularly for the man bearing the burden of DC's relaunch.
Additionally, the success of Superman at the box office gives Corenswet, Brosnahan, and Hoult the opportunity to receive additional compensation on top of their base pay. As per Times Of India report, this is referred to as 'box-office bonus.' If the movie is a success, the cast will get more money. This type of performance-based compensation is frequently used to encourage actors and give them credit for the success of the movie.
