Tanishaa Mukerji recently talked about how being a 'Bollywood baby' causes her great pain when people criticize her. The actor expressed how much she loves the film industry and is curious as to why they are frequently singled out. People from film families, in her opinion, genuinely 'give back' to the industry and are constantly considering ways to expand it. The outsiders, she claimed, have 'no loyalty' to the film industry and are only here to 'take,' not to provide.
Tanishaa Mukerji told Pinkvilla that she likes 'nepo babies' while talking about the growing expense of going to the movies and the continuous criticism of Bollywood. She referred to herself as a 'Bollywood baby' and that she loves the film industry and the people that come from it.
Tanishaa Mukerji said, "There has to be a team effort where producers, theatre owners, government officials ko ek consensus banana padega because Bollywood is the culture of this country. We say ‘Make India great again…Make In India’. Bollywood is made in India. It is Indian- actors, subjects, everything. Why aren’t we getting those concessions? Why are we being penalised? Why are we being Bollywood bashed constantly? This is something that hurts me. Because I am a Bollywood baby. I love my industry, I love my film fraternity, I love people coming into my film fraternity, people who are born in this fraternity. I love my nepo-babies, if you want to call them that. And I want to know why we are being bashed."

Tanisha Mukerji believes that outsiders are not loyal and only want to 'take' from the industry instead of contributing."When you come from a film family, you think of the film industry first. You’re not somebody who is here to take from the film industry. Yes, you want to be an actor, a director or a producer in this film industry, but you will always think about giving to the film industry. It is about growing the industry. And somewhere I feel people who come from outside, they come with no loyalty to our film industry. They come to take, " she shared.

Tanisha Mukerji claimed that outsiders will consider giving back if they become second-generation and have children who get into the film industry. She mentioned her brother-in-law and superstar Ajay Devgn and shared, "Whether it’s a Rohit Shetty, or my brother-in-law (Ajay Devgn), they take care of the stunt guys. I mean I hear stories. Whatever it is, families of the industry are about making movies that will give back to the industry. That will grow and nourish the industry. I believe that. and I want more people to think like that."
