The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 3: The Bengal Files, which was out on September 5, is the third and last installment of Vivek Agnihotri's The Files Trilogy, which is focused on contemporary Indian history and comes after The Tashkent Files (2019) and The Kashmir Files (2022). The Bengal Files has made Rs 6.65 crore after three days at the theater. According to the most recent Sacnilk report, the intense political drama brought in Rs 2.75 crore. Compared to its second day when the movie brought in Rs 2.15 crore, the latest earnings represent a modest growth. Its first-day earnings were likewise unimpressive at Rs 1.75 crore.

The Bengal Files had an overall 38.95% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, September 07, 2025. The movie based on true story witnessed highest footfall in the evening shows with 52.15% followed by 49.52 in the afternoon.

The Bengal Files Hindi (2D) has an occupancy rate of 83% in Chennai and 75.75% in Bengaluru, according to Sacnilk.

The Bengal Files illuminates the massacre of Hindus that took place in the aftermath of the Partition, set against the blood-soaked backdrop of West Bengal's brutal political past. Mithun Chakraborty leads the ensemble cast, which also includes Anupam Kher and Pallavi Joshi, who served as the film's producer. In addition, Rajesh Khera, Puneet Issar, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Sourav Das, Mohan Kapur, Namashi Chakraborty, Saswata Chatterjee, Simrat Kaur, and Darshan Kumar are part of the cast.

In West Bengal, multiplex owners reportedly refused to screen The Bengal Files due to threats. Pallavi Joshi requested the protection of her constitutional rights and assistance from Droupadi Murmu, the president of India, in an open letter.
