The Bengal Files Box Office Collection: The Bengal Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Simrat Kaur and others show improvement throughout the second weekend. With the help of the weekend window, the riveting political drama boosts its total by more than one crore. The film's net receipts come extremely close to Rs 13 crore after a nine-day theatrical run. Sivakarthikeyan's Madharasi and Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 as well as the horror film Conjuring: Last Rites are fierce rivals to The Bengal Files.

The Bengal Files, which has been going on its own pace at the box office, has not been able to keep with its rivals. The intense political drama collected its lowest, Rs 60 lakhs on second Friday. Nonetheless the movie picked up the pace on Saturday, i.e. day 9. As per sacnilk, the movie saw a rise of over 80 percent currently collecting Rs 1.11 crore net in the Indian market. With its total currently stands at Rs 12.96 crore.

NO Screening Of The Bengal Files In Bengal

Vivek Agnihotri's contentious film The Bengal Files has not been shown in any West Bengali theaters since its September 5 nationwide premiere. In response, the director expressed his frustration that state residents are being denied the opportunity to see the film.

On September 13, a private screening of the film on the communal riots that took place in Calcutta on Direct Action Day in August 1946 took place at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Bhasha Bhavan auditorium on the grounds of the National Library, which is run by the Union Ministry of Culture.
