The Raja Saab: Prabhas is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Telugu movie, The Raja Saab. Alongside the Bahubali actor, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt in a key role. Sanjay Dutt turns 66 today, and to mark the occasion, the makers have unveiled a fierce first look of the actor from the movie on his birthday. The first-look poster of the 66-year-old has created a lot of buzz among fans. The movie is slated to hit theatres on 5th December 2025.

Telugu movie The Raja Saab’s makers took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the first look of Sanjay Dutt from the movie. The caption of the post read, “Team #TheRajaSaab wishes the Powerhouse and versatile Sanju Baba - @DuttSanjay a very Happy Birthday Get ready to witness a terrifying presence that will shake you to the core this Dec 5th in cinemas #TheRajaSaabOnDec5th” In the poster Sanjay Dutt's character is hinted at being eerie and mysterious in the poster, where he is seen with grey hair and a rugged look. Only half of his face is visible, with cobwebs covering the rest of the poster.

Telugu movie The Raja Saab began production in 2022. The movie was initially scheduled for theatrical release on April 10 but was later shifted to December 5th. The film is jointly produced by B4U Motion Pictures and AA Films. The music has been scored by Thaman S. Karthik Palani handles the cinematography, while the editing is done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Apart from Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt, The Raja Saab movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar in lead roles. The Telugu (original), Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions of the film will be released throughout India.

The Raja Saab Telugu movie began production in 2022. The movie is set to be released across India in Telugu (original), Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. Initially slated for an April 10 theatrical release, the film's date was later shifted to December 5th. Additionally, B4U Motion Pictures and AA Films are jointly producing the movie. Thaman S is the music composer, Karthik Palani is in charge of cinematography, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. In addition to Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt, the cast also includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles.

Sanjay Dutt’s Work Front

Sanjay Dutt also has the movie Dhurandhar in his kitty. The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role along with Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in supporting roles. The high-octane action movie is also slated to hit cinemas on 5th December 2025, promising a huge box office clash.

Meanwhile, according to Times Now, Sanjay Dutt expressed his stance on the box office clash and stated that he hopes the films do not release on the same day. He reportedly said, “It’s amazing. Two different kinds of roles I’m playing. ‘Dhurandhar’ is different, and ‘The Raja Saab’ is different. I don’t want the films to clash, and I hope they don’t. Every film has its own journey.”
