The Taj Story Box Office Collection Day 4: Paresh Rawal and Zakir Hussain starrer courtroom drama hit the screens on October 31 after facing many hurdles. The film gained mixed reactions from the audience and the critics. Since its release, The Taj Story has been earning a decent amount at the box office. After showcasing a hike on the first weekend, the courtroom drama has seen a slight dip in numbers on the first Monday. It would be interesting to see if the movie will be able to cross the Rs 10 crore mark this week.

The Taj Story Box Office Collection Day 4

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 1.15 crore on Day 4. The net collection of The Taj Story stands at Rs 6.90 crore. The film had an overall 12.57 per cent Hindi occupancy on Monday. It had 5.28 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 11.93 per cent in the afternoon shows, 13.68 per cent in the evening shows and 19.37 per cent in the night shows.

According to reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crore.

What Is The Taj Story All About?

The movie revolves around the life of Vishnu Das, a local guide who is driven by a curiosity to uncover the real history behind the iconic Taj Mahal monument. The Taj Story stars Paresh Rawal, Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar and Namit Das in key roles. It has been directed by Tushar Amrish Goel and produced by Suresh Jha. The music in the film has been composed by Rohit Sharma.

Earlier in October, two PILs were filed against the film, demanding a ban on it and a review on the film’s certification. Despite facing several challenges, the makers stood firm in their stance. The High Court dismissed the ban on the movie, after which the film was released on its time without facing any delays.
