Vikrant Massey Recalls Wife’s 30-Hour Labour, Says No Man Can Ever ‘Come Close’ to That Strength

Vikrant Massey and his wife Sheetal Thakur welcomed their baby boy, Vardaan in 2024 after being married for two years. The actor recently talked about his journey as a father and did not shy away from talking about his wife's intense pregnancy journey. The actor expressed his respect for his wife for going through a really tough labour.

In a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Vikrant Massey said, "During the nine months of pregnancy, to see Sheetal… and I have known Sheetal for more than 10 years. To see that little girl, to see her belly grow day by day. She went through 30 hours of labour, I think. I mean women endure a lot." He quickly added that whatever a man does, nothing can even 'come close to it.' On the podcast, he also revealed that it was his wife Sheetal who named their baby boy Vardaan.

While talking to Ranveer Allahbadia, he also opened his heart about marriage and said, "Marriage is a constant work in progress, pouring energy in all possible ways."

Vikrant Massey And Sheetal Thakur’s Love Life

Vikrant Massey met his wife Sheetal Thakur back in 2015 through a mutual friend. But nothing happened between them until 2018, when they both worked together on the show Broken But Beautiful. Vikrant never fails to acknowledge how Sheetal supported him through his rough phase and even helped him financially. The couple registered their marriage in 2022 on Valentine's Day. A few days later on February 18, they had their traditional wedding in Himachal Pradesh, where only close family and friends were present.

In September 2023, Vikrant and Sheetal announced their pregnancy and welcomed their son in February 2024.

Vikrant Massey On Quitting Acting

In December 2024, Vikrant made a post that unintentionally broke his fans' hearts. In the post he wrote, "So coming 2025, we would meet each other again for one last time. Until time seems right." What he meant in the announcement was his intention to take a temporary break, which many misunderstood as a farewell message.

People assumed that he was quitting acting but he later clarified that he is not retiring; he just needs to take a break so that he can be with his family and bounce back fully recharged.

The actor was last in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside debutant Shanaya Kapoor. His 12th Fail which was released in 2023, gathered great critical acclaim.

Currently, the actor is preparing for his international biopic film White. The film is expected to be released in 2026.
