Krushna Abhishek and his 'mami', Sunita Ahuja, have reconciled after a 14-year-long feud.  Govinda's wife was seen posing for pictures with her nephew and his wife, Kashmera Shah, on the Laughter Chefs sets on Wednesday. The three were smiling and hugging in a video that went viral on social media. "14 saal ka vanvaas khatam hua" was another statement made by Sunita upon her reunion with Krushna. But what really happened?

What Happened Between Krushna Abhishek And His Mama-Mami?

The conflict between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek is alleged to have begun in 2016 when Govinda was offended by Krushna's caustic comments about his uncle. For the past many years, their public fallout has been widely reported in the media. When Sunita Ahuja, Govinda's wife, decided to never forgive Krushna and his wife, Kashmera, things really got out of hand.

Govinda disclosed in a podcast with Maniesh Paul that Krushna's time on a comedy program was what really got to him. He described the incident and said that Krushna's one-liner had upset him. "I just happened to see that he was talking to some actor, asking if they have any filmy dushman. Krushna says, ‘Mujhe zarurat nahi hai, mere ghar me mera mama hai’. I didn’t feel that it was written by a writer. I felt he is assuming and presuming that something wrong is happening in his life due to me."

The dispute was exacerbated by Kashmera Shah's tweet, in which she subtly referred to Govinda and his wife Sunita as 'people who dance for money' on X (earlier Twitter). Several public remarks and accusations, including the controversial tweet by Kashmera and a disagreement about not being invited to see Krushna's children, were part of this long-standing fight.

However, with this reunion, they have put a stop to all of the rumours and conjectures that have garnered media attention over a decade.

Krushna Abhishek And Govinda Reunion

Comedian Krushna Abhishek visited his uncle, actor Govinda, at his house for the first time in seven years after Govinda accidentally shot himself. 

Govinda and Krushna Abhishek publicly reconciled on The Great Indian Kapil Show in November 2024. They celebrated their happy reunion with a jaadhu ki japhi and said mitti pao to their long-standing disagreement.

Later, Kashmera said that the video of Krushna Abhishek and Govinda dancing to the music of Filmo Ke Sare Hero Mere Aage Hai Zero was the greatest birthday present ever.
