Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda reportedly got engaged in the latter’s residence on October 3. The duo have not made things public yet but reports claimed that they are set to get married in February 2026. They have been making headlines for some years for their relationship rumours. There were some instances when they playfully teased each other or dropped a hint. For example, in 2024, Rashmika attended the launch of Kissik from Pushpa 2, where she was asked whether she would ever choose to marry someone from the industry or outside.

Rashmika Mandanna then replied, “Everyone knows about it. I know what answer you want, I know it well.” She then added, “Let’s not delve into that right now, I’ll tell you later, personally.” Netizens on social media at that time speculated that she was talking about Vijay Deverakonda.

Earlier, in an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Mandanna talked about her thoughts on love and relationships. She said, “My partner. I need my partner in every phase of my life. I need that comfort, security, and empathy.” While talking about her ideal partner, she added, “My most important thing in a relationship is definitely kindness, but also respect. When you mutually respect one another, genuinely care, and are responsible for one another... it all adds up.”

The actress also added, “Being loving, empathetic, caring, having a good heart, and being truly genuine are the other traits I need, because this is what comes naturally to me. I want to be with someone who has similar qualities and if my partner doesn't have the same attachment style, we just won't get along.”

“Being in love to me means partnership and companionship. You need a companion in your life. After all, if you don't have them then what's the point of having this life? You need someone to witness all of your highs and lows, and someone to stand by your side and celebrate life with,” she also said.
