When Sara Khan Opened Up About Her Troubled Marriage With Ali Merchant, Actress Revealed How She Faced Lies And Cheating

Television actress Sara Khan tied the knot with actor and producer Krish Pathak. The couple shared glimpses from their Hindu and Muslim wedding ceremonies on Instagram. After their wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception for family and industry friends. The celebration followed their court marriage registration earlier in October. However, Sara Khan was earlier married to Ali Merchart. The ex-couple participated in Bigg Boss during which they got married, but after two months of their marriage, they called it quits. During her stint in Lock Upp, Sara Khan opened up about her failed marriage with Ali Merchant.

Sara opened up about everything she has experienced over the years, speaking candidly about it all. She revealed how he had been a compulsive liar and had cheated on her multiple times.

She said in the show, "I am strong. I am very strong. I have seen life. I am glad I am nominated. I just wish I don’t want to be in this. It ended in a very bitter, cheating, lying and stuff. But it has been 12 years. I have forgotten. I don’t even remember his face. My choices have changed, I have changed as a person. That time I was a kid, now I am a woman. I have no grudges against him. 12 years back it was different. A person changes after that."

"He was the first guy in my life. I fell for him and then we started dating. At one point of time, we had a lot of differences. I was cheated on a lot of times. I used to forgive, forget and get back. At one point, I decided I am just going to move ahead in life. I was 17 when I fell for him. And it is difficult to forget someone when you fall at that age," wrote Sara Khan.

She added, "Then I went to Bigg Boss. He entered without my knowledge. He started manipulating me saying I am not playing the game well. My bond with Ashmeet is seen in a wrong way. He convinced me I am looking like a fool outside. He told me that if we get married in the house, it will all be fine. I thought if that’s what it takes then let’s do it. I was very stupid. We came out of the house and he again started cheating on me. Not one, but several women. I thought 'kahin toh rukega'."

"We came out of the house and again he started cheating. Our marriage was not legal and we broke up. I had relationships after him. He tried to get back. Then he got married. He cheated on me with one of Saisha’s friend and many more…many, many more. Had I been in his position, I wouldn’t have come here knowing I am there," she further added.
