This year, when there was a huge controversy around the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup match, the late actor Satish Shah called for a boycott. Shah then took to his social media to urge his fans and followers to be true patriots and not watch the match. He also then stated that he lost respect for the Indian cricket team for going ahead with it despite the Pahalgam attack. The veteran actor, who passed away on October 25, was disheartened by India’s cricket team’s decision.
In his tweet, Satish Shah wrote, “I sincerely urge every patriot true Indian to strictly boycott India/pakistan match. Just switch of the TV. I have lost respect for our team for sure.” Several fans and followers agreed to his opinion and felt the same way. Now months later, his tweet has been going viral as it recorded one of his rarest opinions. Later, India won the Asia Cup match.
