Comedian and actor Sunil Grover's spot-on mimicry of Aamir recently earned him praise from the superstar himself. This time, his imitation has landed Aamir in trouble. The hilarious promotional video of Happy Patel shows the real Aamir being thrown out of his own office after his security mistakes Sunil for him. This confusion also leaves Vir Das baffled.

Who’s The Real Perfectionist? Sunil Grover Vs Aamir Khan

The video shared by Aamir Khan Productions on Instagram opens with Aamir Khan being thrown out of the office by his own security. A flashback then reveals what actually happened. Actor Vir Das, who is making his directorial debut with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, backed by Aamir Khan's production, enters the office. He meets Sunil Grover, who is dressed in Aamir and fully immersed in his character. Grover greets Veer and introduces himself as Aamir, praising him for his director, which leaves Vir shocked.

Initially skeptical, Das eventually succumbs to the illusion after receiving praise and a bonus check from the 'Perfectionist'. Soon, the real Khan arrives, exposing Grover's deception and questioning his identity. Instead of supporting the real Khan, Das sides with the fake Khan, calling him the true producer of the film. Furious and confused, Aamir calls security to throw out Grover. However, things take a different turn when Grover pays off the guards, who then escort real Aamir Khan out of the building instead.

Sharing this hilarious video, the production house wrote, "@whosunilgrover itna bhi natural mat kar bhai, asli Aamir ka pata nahi chal raha hai. Watch Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos in theatres this Friday."

Recently, the makers dropped the trailer, offering a glimpse of his journey as an NRI who had failed the MI7 exam seven times before returning to India for a secret mission. The film also stars Mona Singh and Imran Khan, adding their charm and humorous chaos to the narrative. Aamir will be seen in a special appearance. Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Happy Patel is slated to release in theatres on January 16, 2026.
