Zeenat Aman shared her grief on Instagram as she boarded Air India aircraft, only days after the devastating crash of a London-bound flight near Ahmedabad airport that killed over 200 people. Her heartfelt post encapsulates the sorrow, experienced nationwide as the public and industry lament the tragic loss. She mentioned being 'overcome with emotion,' in her post, on Instagram.
Zeenat Aman posted a poignant statement on social media expressing her sorrow for the plane crash victims. She posted a picture of herself on an Air India flight that she boarded this morning on her Instagram account on Saturday. She also extended her support for the victims and their families in the heartfelt note that accompanied the picture. "Boarded an Air India flight this morning and found myself absolutely overwhelmed with emotion as I buckled my seat. May our collective grief offer some solace to those who lost their loved ones," read the text on her Instagram story.

The Air India flight, which was carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members, reportedly slammed into the BJ Medical College and Hospital complex around 1:17 PM after abruptly descending. The crash resulted in massive casualties and damage. The passengers were one Canadian, seven Portuguese, fifty-three British, and 169 Indians. A businessman apparently jumped out of the emergency escape just in time to survive the disaster.

Bollywood celebrities joined the nation in sorrow as a result of the tragedy, which sparked a wave of condolences from all around the country. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan also shared their profound sorrow on social media, urging people to pray and assist the impacted families. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the emergency personnel' painstaking efforts and described the scene as "saddening" during his visit to the Ahmedabad disaster site on Friday.
Zeenat Aman, meanwhile, most recently appeared in the Netflix series The Royals. Her next appearance will be in Bun Tikki, directed by Faraz Arif Ansari. The movie, which also features Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol in major parts, is Manish Malhotra's first production.
