Mathew Thomas-starrer 'Neymar' is all set to release on OTT after its theatrical run. The movie revolves around Kunjava and his friend Sinto, whose lives turn upside down after they bring a new furry friend named Neymar. The movie also stars Naslen K. Gafoor, Johny Antony, Shammi Thilakan and Vijayaraghavan.

'Neymar' OTT Release Date

As per reports, 'Neymar' will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 28.

In an interview with Onmanorama, director Sudhi Maddison talked about his experience of working with Mathew and Naslen and the plot of 'Neymar'. He said, "When I set out to make Neymar, my goal was to create a movie that would entertain audiences with a wide range of emotions. While many dog movies tend to focus on the emotional side of things, I wanted to bring a bit of mischief to the story as well."

He further added, "Rather than being solely focused on joy or sadness, Neymar is a movie that explores a variety of emotions. The film tells the story of how a dog becomes a part of Mathew and Naslen's characters' lives, and the fun and sometimes unpredictable things that happen as a result."

On the work front, Mathew Thomas was last seen in 'Journey Of Love 18+' along with Nikhila Vimal, Binu Pappu and Rajesh Madhavan. He will star in Lokesh Kanagaraj's film 'Leo: Bloody Sweet' alongside Vijay, Trisha and Sanjay Dutt.

Naslen K. Gafoor was also last seen in 'Journey Of Love 18+' and will soon star in 'I am Kathalan'.
