Arjun Kapoor, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, dropped a major update about No Entry 2 during the film's promotion in Delhi. At an event, he was heard saying, "Comedy is a genre that we all enjoy as an audience watching in theatres. Agar aap logon ko hansa sake, issey achi koi feeling hoti nahi. I have done action, drama, and comedy as well. Mai Anees bhai ke saath Mubarakan kar chuka hu aur ab mauka mil raha hai fir se. Arjun and Anees Bazmee worked together in the 2017 romantic family drama Mubarakan, where he played a dual role. The film also featured Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty, Neha Sharma, among others.

Talking about the 2005 No Entry, the film also featured Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, and Esha Deol in key roles. The storyline revolved around three married men who get entangled in extramarital affairs behind their wives' backs. No Entry Part 2 will reportedly also star Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.
