On Tuesday, she took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt video capturing her emotional response to the overwhelming reactions to her latest film. Visibly moved, she confessed, "I'm feeling utterly overwhelmed and unsure how to process my emotions." Her husband and actor, Ranveer Singh, also made a special appearance in the video, looking stunned and speechless after watching the movie directed by Nag Ashwin. He expressed his disbelief, saying, "It's truly mind-boggling to see a film where her character is pregnant, and she's pregnant in real life too... it's like, what's happening?!"
Kalki 2898 AD is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, this film is the first in the planned Kalki Cinematic Universe. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, it follows a group on a mission to save Kalki, the unborn child of a lab subject named SUM-80.
