The trailer for Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming movie, Sardaar Ji 3, has been released, revealing a surprising appearance by Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in a significant role. Due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, the horror-comedy will only be released internationally, as announced by the Punjabi singer-actor on Instagram. Directed by Amar Hundal, the movie is set to premiere on June 27, 2025.

On June 11, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) appealed to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to withhold certification for Sardaar Ji 3. This request was made due to the film's inclusion of Pakistani actors, specifically Daniel Khawar, Saleem Albela, Nasir Chinyoti, and Hania Aamir. To prevent further complications, the producers reportedly opted for an international release only, foregoing a theatrical run in India.
