These movies are now all set to stream on OTT.
Delayed Movies Set For OTT Release In August
Maaman
The Tamil family drama Maaman directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj and starring Soori, Rajkiran, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, hit theaters worldwide on May 16, 2025. Produced by K. Kumar under Lark Studios, the film received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. Maaman is set to stream on ZEE5 starting August 8, 2025.
Tehran
The upcoming Hindi action thriller "Tehran," directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on August 14, 2025. The film stars John Abraham, Neeru Bajwa, and Manushi Chhillar, and is claimed to be based on true events. Fans can look forward to an intense thriller experience as the story unfolds on the popular streaming platform. It was originally slated for release on Republic Day 2023, but got delayed for reasons unknown.
Nadikar
The Malayalam comedy-drama Nadikar starring Tovino Thomas, Bhavana and Soubin Shahir, is finally set to make its digital debut on Saina Play after a long delay. Initially released in theatres on May 3, 2024, the film struggled at the box office and faced uncertainty over its OTT release due to disagreements with Netflix over streaming prices.
However, Saina Play has now acquired the streaming rights and officially announced that Nadikar will be available for streaming on August 8, 2025. The film follows the story of David Padikkal, a superstar grappling with arrogance and career turmoil, as he navigates acting lessons and self-reflection.
Madha Gaja Raja
The long-awaited Tamil film Madha Gaja Raja finally hit theatres on January 12, 2025, during the Pongal weekend, after facing delays for over 12 years due to legal and financial issues.
Despite its protracted production journey, the film turned out to be a box office success, earning a spot among the top-grossing Tamil films of 2025, specifically ranking ninth. The film now faces delay on OTT. According to reports, the film is expected to arrive on OTT in August 2025. Based on reports, Madha Gaja Raja may stream on Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar or any other OTT platform and now fans await for the announcement.
