With Jana Nayagan performing well in theatres, fans are eagerly awaiting its OTT release. However, the makers are yet to announce the film's streaming platform or premiere date.
Earlier, trade reports claimed that Prime Video was in talks to acquire Jana Nayagan's digital rights for around Rs 110 crore. However, the deal reportedly fell through due to multiple release delays and the piracy leak, which is said to have impacted the film's digital value.
About the movie: Jana Nayagan is a Tamil political action thriller starring Vijay, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju. It marked Vijay's final film before politics and his first release as Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister.
The film follows a former IPS officer who mentors his late friend's daughter and battles corruption while helping her achieve her dream of joining the Indian Army.
