Kalamkaval OTT Release: Where To Expect Mammootty’s Malayalam Neo-Noir Crime Thriller Movie Online Post Theatrical Run?

Kalamkaval OTT Release: Mammootty is all set to make a smashing comeback with much much-awaited movie, Kalamkaval. The film marks the directorial debut of writer Jithin K Jose. Along with Mammootty, the movie also features Vinayakan in the lead roles. The film is packed with a stellar cast and storyline, which makes it more anticipated films of recent times. The Malayalam neo-noir crime thriller movie is slated to be released in theatres on December 5, 2025. However, the movie is set to have a box office clash with Dhurandhar, which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead.

What To Expect From Kalamkaval?

As per the official premise, the movie is expected to show a routine Kerala police inquiry in the quiet village of Kottayikonam, which takes an unexpected turn when a trail of seemingly minor clues unravels into a string of disturbing cases. The investigation soon reveals some unsolved mysteries that have lingered in many cases. Kalamkaval features Mammootty, Vinayakan, Meera Jasmine, Gibin Gopinath, Gayatri Arun, Rajisha Vijayan, Aravind S K, Shruti Ramachandran, Azees Nedumangad, Biju Pappan, Harisankar SG and RJ Sooraj in key roles. The film has been written and directed by Jithin K. Jose. The movie has been backed by Mammootty. The cinematography of the movie has been done by Faisal Ali. Kalamkaval has been produced by Mammootty Kampany.

The film was initially slated to be released on November 27. However, the film was later delayed. The makers recently shared the release date on social media handles and wrote, “We know you've waited long.. The wait will be worth it... 🔥 #Kalamkaval In Cinemas Worldwide from December 5, 2025 Keep Calm and wait for him.”
