Kantara Chapter 1 OTT Release Update: Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kannada mythological action movie, which released in theatres on October 2, made its digital debut on October 31. In less than a month of theatrical release, the Kantara prequel started streaming on multiple languages, including Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. However, the Hindi version was not available. Now, around 57 days after the theatrical release, the Hindi version has made its way to OTT.
Kantara Chapter 1 Hindi Version Is Now Streaming
Prime Video has announced that the Hindi version of Kantara Chapter 1 started streaming since November 27. The OTT platform shared the news on its social media handles and wrote, “Kantara's legendary roar echoes, now in Hindi #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime.” Now, fans can watch the movie as per their choice of language.
About Kantara Chapter 1
The story is set against the backdrop of the Kadamba dynasty, when the evil king and princess wanted to capture the forest gods-Panjurli and Guliga. It shows how a young man named Berme protects the idols and the people of the forest from the evil dynasty. He also started a business of spices and other forest products in the town succesfully and grew close with the princess of the Kadamba dynasty, but he later realised the evil intentions of the kingdom. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rishab Shetty, Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Pramod Shetty, Naveen D. Padil, Prakash Thuminad, Hariprashanth M G and Bala Rajwadi in key roles. The movie has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty. It has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda.

As per a report by Sacnilk, Kantara Chapter 1 earned Rs 621.35 crore in India. The worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 851.15 crore. While the overseas collection is Rs 111 crore and the India gross collection is Rs 740.15 crore.
