Narivetta OTT Release Report: Tovino Thomas and Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer Malayalam crime thriller movie released in theatres on May 23, this year. The film recived positive responses from the audience and the critics. It was made on a budget of Rs 10 crore. Even after receiving good reviews, the film had a moderate collection. Narivetta earned Rs 15.63 crore after 15 days of release and Rs 28.25 crore worldwide. Over a month of its theatrical release, there is a buzz about its OTT platform. Here is what we know about the OTT update.

As per OTTPlay, Narivetta is set to make its digital debut on SonyLIV. The exact date has not been announced yet. The report further suggests that Narivetta is expected to be released in mid month of July.

About Narivetta

The crime thriller drama is about a dedicated Kerala Police constable named Peter Varghese, who has been assigned to a remote tribal area. He gets into the livelihood of the locals and gets the awareness of the injustice happening with the tribal communities in that area, especially land ownership and displacement. The tribal people have resided on their ancestral lands for generations. But they were forced to leave the place under the pretext of forest conservation and development. Their protest are met with escalating force, which led to tension between tribals and law enforcement. The movie stars Tovino Thomas, Priyamvada Krishnan, Arya Salim, Cheran, Rini Udayakumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kumar Sethu, Pranav Teophine and Shahi Kabir in significant roles.

While sharing the posters of the movie, Tovino wrote on Instagram, “Mark your calendars. ‘Narivetta’ from May 23rd in theatres near you !!”

Narivetta has been directed by Anuraj Manohar and produced by Shiyas Hassan, Tippushan VE under the production company of Indian Cinema Company. The music director of the film is Jakes Bejoy. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 18 minutes. It was released in Malayalam and Hindi languages.
