Sarzameen On OTT: Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol unite for a patriotic movie titled Sarzameen, which is slated for direct digital release. Sukumaran can be seen as an honest army officer, while Kajol plays his wife. The intense trailer and poster of the movie have been captivating audiences because of the film’s patriotic theme. What To Expect From Sarzameen?

The plot of the film is set against the backdrop of increasingly volatile Kashmir. It shows Vijay Menon, who performs his duty with honesty and patriotism. He is always ready to fight against any challenges that Kashmir faces. His wife, Meera, is vulnerable yet strong, holding the Menon family together. Another essential character is Harman, who can be seen juggling between shadowed memories and unsettling truth. As per the trailer, he can also be seen wearing an army uniform and confronting Vijay Menon.

Sarzameen features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Boman Irani, Abdul Quadir Amin, Jitendra Joshi, Rohed Khan and Athar Siddiqui in pivotal roles. It has been directed by Kayoze Irani. The movie marks the directorial debut of Kayoze Irani. The new filmmaker said in a statement, “Sarzameen will always hold a special place in my heart, not just because it marks my first feature film as a director, but because it gave me the chance to tell a story that is both deeply intimate and profoundly intense.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol starrer patriotic movie Sarzameen is set to release on JioHotstar on July 25.
