The plot of Special Ops 2 will be centered around a new type of war and threat from the shadows of the digital world, while also showcasing tech-driven warfare, including hackers and digital threats. The story will connect the dots from the previous two seasons, providing a strong basis for the original plot. Kaykay Menon led Hotstar web series also stars Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Meher Vij, Prakash Raj, Tota Roy Choudhury, Dalip Tahil and Gautami Kapoor.

To give a backstory, Himmat Singh plays a senior officer in Special Ops 1 who was determined to identify the person responsible for the fatal terror strikes that had been occurring for almost 20 years. He assembled a multinational squad to find the mastermind behind these attacks. By the end of the season, he was able to validate his theory that a shadowy entity was responsible for all of the attacks and stop the threat, but doing so put the officer in a strange position within the system.

Special Ops 1.5, the next season, sent us back to the 1990s, when Himmat Singh was laying the groundwork for his future as an officer by navigating a number of challenging circumstances, such as several missions, political games, and more. Both seasons now set the stage for season 2, in which Himmat Singh will battle cyberterrorism, the ultimate form of terrorism.
