Shershaah (Prime Video)

He, along with his base, won the 1999 Kargil war and sacrificed his life. The movie is based on a fearless young officer who made history by becoming the first Indian female Air Officer to fly a combat zone during the 1999 Kargil war. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil War stars Janhvi Kapoor, Riva Arora, Angad Bedi, Manav Vij, Vineet Kumar Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma and Mukesh Khanna in prominent roles. It was released on August 12, 2025.
Amaran (Netflix)
The plot is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who is set against the backdrop of the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian, which took place in 2014. Amaran stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Umair Lateef, Rahul Bose and Rohman Shawl in significant roles. Amaran was released in theatres on October 31, 2024.
