Phule Box Office Collection Day 14: Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa starrer biographical drama movie released in theatres on April 25. The film has been witnessing ups and downs in numbers at the ticket windows. Since its opening day, Phule has collected only in lakhs at the box office. However, the worldwide collection of the movie is way ahead of the Hindi box office. Seeing the current pace, it seems difficult for the film to reach the Rs 10 crore mark during its theatrical run. But it can be said that Phule might cross Rs 5 crore soon if it continues to show improvement in numbers.

About Phule Movie
The film is based on the lives of social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. The storyline depicted their social work from educating girl child to opposing the dominance of the caste system. Soon after the trailer release, the movie became a centre of attention as it hurt the sentiments of many people. Netizens criticised how the film tried to showcase the behaviour of upper caste society. Some even went on to call it ‘anti-brahmin’. Meanwhile, the boycott Phule started trending on social media. Despite the controversy, the movie tried to maintain a decent pace at the ticket windows. The movie features Patralekhaa, Pratik Gandhi, Darsheel Safary, Vinay Pathak and Alexx O'Nell in pivotal roles. It has been helmed by renowned filmmaker Anant Mahadevan and backed by Pranay Chokshi, Ritesh Kudecha, Anuya Chauhan Kudecha, Sunil Jain, Raj Kishore Khaware, Jagdish Patel.
