Priyanka Chopra recently took to Instagram to share a nostalgic compilation of her award-show dance performances from the early 2000s. This throwback video connected her past Bollywood stage presence to her husband Nick Jonas’s daily life as a performer. In her heartfelt caption, Priyanka expressed, “It’s the closest I’ve felt to what my husband does every day,” tagging Nick Jonas. Nick's response, “Baby I’m your biggest fan forever and always,” was a loving testament to his admiration for Priyanka’s work.
Currently, Priyanka is in Australia filming The Bluff. Her Instagram post featured a montage of beloved Bollywood performances, including her iconic dance to Ek Do Teen. Reflecting on her career, Priyanka shared, “When I first started working in the movies in Mumbai, I truly did not know how much of a love affair I would have with the stage and especially dancing on it. It is intoxicating.”
Priyanka's journey began with her Bollywood debut in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy in 2003. Over the years, she has won hearts globally, extending her career to Hollywood with roles in Quantico and Baywatch. In her post, Priyanka thanked everyone who supported her journey, stating, “This is just a throwback to a girl in her 20s shaping the woman that I am today. Thank you to everyone who, without even knowing, contributed to my journey in such a big way.”
Fans flooded the comment section with love and admiration, with one user calling her a “Desi Queen” and another praising her as an “inspiration for real.”
On the work front, Priyanka is busy with The Bluff, set in the 19th-century Caribbean. She plays a former female pirate on a mission to protect her family. The film, produced by the Russo Brothers' AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, is eagerly anticipated. Additionally, Priyanka will star alongside John Cena and Idris Elba in Heads of State.
