BLACKPINK Jisoo, a member of the global girl group from South Korea under YG Entertainment, is soon going to celebrate its eighth debut anniversary on August 8, 2024. The members Jennie, Lisa and Rose along with Jisoo did not renew their contract for solo activities with the label they began their careers with.

And so since their last comeback in 2022, the fans known as BLINKs have been waiting for a comeback from the four band members together as BLACKPINK. It should be noted that the girls have renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities. Ahead of the group's eighth debut anniversary in August, Jisoo shared a heartfelt note for her fans on the social media platform, Bubble.

As per a fan account on X, Jisoo's note on Bubble read, “Anyways BLINK! It’ll be August in a few hours! It’s already been 8 years for us. I’m so lucky and happy that about a third of my life has been with BLACKPINK and BLINK. I’ve never taken it for granted and have always been grateful. To be honest, there were a lot of aspects I was sad about this time and how things turned out, but I hope we can all make good memories together! A part of me always feels sorry, but since that will only make us sad and won’t give us energy, I try hard to turn that into something positive! I’m always thankful and I love you. See you soon! I’ll come to play in August too. See you in August."

As members currently focus on their solo activities, Jisoo is not far away and recently finished the shoot of her upcoming Kdrama and her debut movie. She has completed shooting for Newtopia (Kdrama) and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Movie). Jisoo's loving note has endeared her to her fans even more.
