Pushpa: The Rule is one of the most anticipated and hyped movies in the past three years. The Telugu movie was finally released on December 5th, 2025 following several delays. Sukumar's directorial stars Allu Arjun in the lead role.
But here's something you didn't know about Pushpa movie franchise! Director Sukumar had originally intended to work with Mahesh Babu on Pushpa following the success of Rangasthalam.

Many were taken aback by the superstar's post in 2019. He stated that he will not be working on the project with the director because of some creative disagreements. He also wished Sukumar well for his directing efforts. He added that 1 Nenokkadine will continue to be a cult favorite.
Mahesh Babu's script choice are often hailed by his fans and followers. The majority of his movies convey a social message, which leave a lasting impact on his audience. He was impressed when Director Vikram Kumar told the narrative of 24 in 2016, but he claimed he couldn't do it since he wouldn't be able to perform the part. He then proposed actor Suriya for the movie.

Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna returned to their roles in the eagerly anticipated Pushpa: The Rise sequel. The first installment became a major hit in 2021, which made Allu Arjun a household name in India.
Pusha 2: The Rule was produced with a budget of Rs 400–500 crore and made Rs 1740.95 crore globally, according to industry tracker sacnilk. The gross collection in India stood at Rs 1469.95 crore. The pan-India movie broke several records at the box office.
