Pushpa 2 on OTT: Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was a game-changer in his career. The actor is now gearing up for Pushpa 2, which will hit the theatres on August 15, 2024. For the unversed, the digital streaming rights for the film ‘Pushpa’ were acquired by Amazon Prime Video at a substantial amount of Rs 30 crore. Now, according to a report in OTT Play, the digital rights of the upcoming movie have been acquired by OTT juggernaut Netflix. 

Pushpa 2 OTT Release Date

According to the sources, Netflix has paid a significantly larger sum, three times more than what Amazon paid, to secure the digital rights for ‘Pushpa 2’. Additionally, there are reports indicating that the film's creator and director, Sukumar, will not only be involved in the filmmaking process but will also receive a share in the proceeds from the OTT deal for ‘Pushpa 2’.

The movie is all set to hit the theatres on August 15, 2024. The news took the internet by storm as the makers also unveiled a fresh poster along with this surprising announcement. Sharing the poster, Mythri Movie Makers took to their official X account and wrote, “Mark the Date 15th AUG 2024 - #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide PUSHPA RAJ IS COMING BACK TO CONQUER THE BOX OFFICE Icon Star @alluarjun @iamRashmika @aryasukku #FahadhFaasil @ThisIsDSP @SukumarWritings @TSeries.”

The announcement was accompanied by an intriguing poster that showed two hands, one with a lux watch and a kada and the other with various gold rings and numerous bracelets. In the movie, Rashmika will reprise her role of Molleti Srivalli, while Fahadh Faasil will once again take on the role of SP SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
