Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: Allu Arjun recently found himself in controversy after he was arrested for a night on December 13 due to the stampede case at the Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad. The stampede occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4 where a woman lost his life and her son got injured. Sri Teja, who got injured in the stampede has been currently on ventilator support. A report by The Hindu confirmed the news from the hospital. As per the authorities, the 8-year-old also has ‘intermittent fever’. 

In a statement released on Saturday, “The boy continues to be in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on ventilator support with minimal requirements. He is hemodynamically stable and tolerating tube feedings. However, he has intermittent fever, remains in an altered sensorium, and exhibits dystonic movements.” 

Sri Teja’s treatment is undergoing at KIMS Cuddles Hospital, Secunderabad. He was hospitalised due to asphyxiation. Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh to the family. 

The Pushpa 2 actor also posted an apology video on X. He tweeted, “Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey.”

Another user mentioned, “Though we cannot bring a life back, the effort you put into taking responsibility and offering support in this difficult time is truly admirable. You are fulfilling an important role, and for that, I thank you. My deepest sympathies go out to the family.” A tweet read, “Heart wrenching news.”
