Raayan Box Office Collection Day 8: The Tamil movie featuring Dhanush, experienced a significant drop at the box office. Since its release on July 26, the action-packed Tamil and Telugu film had garnered considerable attention and impressive earnings. Despite its weekday release, Raayan had shown strong performance with notable occupancy rates. The film boasts a stellar cast including SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Prakash Raj, and Saravanan, along with some surprise cameos, contributing to its strong debut and ongoing box office presence.

Raayan had a strong performance in its first seven days at the box office, earning an estimated ₹60.10 crore net in India. On its eighth day, the film earned approximately ₹2.75 crore net across all languages, bringing its total to ₹62.85 crore according to Sacnilk. On Friday, August 2, 2024, Dhanush starrer had an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 20.39%, with morning shows at 14.65%, afternoon shows at 18.63%, evening shows at 19.01%, and a peak of 29.27% for night shows. The film also had an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 18.66% on the same day.
