Ranveer Singh is currently basking in the success of his latest film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. The movie has been receiving a lot of love from the audience and has also been performing well at the box office. Ranveer recently posted some pictures with his nanu (maternal grandfather) on social media and netizens can't stop gushing over their adorable bond. Both of them can be seen grooving to the iconic song 'Jhumka gira re' and Ranveer's grandfather can also be seen wearing the 'Team Rocky' t-shirt.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Ranveer wrote, "Nana is peak Rocky-ism! 93 and Rock(y)ing!!!such a #Heartthrob."

Bollywood celebrities also showered their love on these adorable pictures. Kriti Sanon commented, "Super cute!", whereas, Karan Johar wrote, "Both heartthrobs".
In an interview with Film Companion, Karan Johar talked about how Ranveer Singh became Rocky Randhawa in the film. He said, "Ranveer was with me right through those three weeks on a recce in Delhi. He would meet Instagrammers, speak to them, pick up lingos, he would absorb. He would also be driving around Delhi at night and just getting the flavour. I don't know what he was doing but he had a process."
He further added, "He worked it. He created the Rocky Randhawa. You see is a lot on paper but it has a lot to do with him."

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' also stars two veteran actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in the pivotal roles and their kissing scene came as a surprise for the audience. The 'Student Of The Year' director was asked if it was hard to convince Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi for the kissing scene. But he revealed that both the actors were completely fine with it.
"Two great veterans just performing with absolute aplomb, no questions asked. I needed it to be a pack. One of my all-time favourites is 'Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar' and it had to be their song because that's what she says in the dialogue about Mall Road walks, their re-run, their favourite song. And that became the thematic kind of connection of Rocky (Ranveer Singh) and Rani (Alia Bhatt) as well," Karan told Film Companion.
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' also stars Alia Bhatt and Jaya Bachchan. The movie was released in theatres on July 28, 2023.
