Rasika Dugal, who rose to fame with hit shows and movies like Mirzapur, Delhi Crime and Lootcase to name a few, recently reacted to being typecast as an OTT actor tag. She stated that she does not have a problem with these tags. The actress also stated that if some people would mention her as ‘OTT queen’ then she will happily accept it. Dugal mentioned that she is not at all insecure about any kind of tags that are associated with her.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rasika Dugal said, “People have their own perceptions and they are entitled to it in a way. Sometimes, the perception can work in your favour, sometimes it won’t. There is nothing you can do about it. There are varying perceptions. I don’t really keep a track of it. Sometimes as actors you don’t even get to know what worked in your favour, and what didn’t. There are anyway so many things beyond your control. I don’t have a problem with these tags.”

“I don’t feel insecure, therefore, about it at all. In fact, sometimes if someone wants to use labels like ‘OTT queen’, that’s great yaar, why not?” she added.

“It was so nice to engage with the audience of Mirzapur again, they are so loyal and full of curiosity about it. The love we get for our work is very addictive,” Dugal concluded.

Rasika is known for her work in Mirzapur, Shekhar Home, Out of Love, Delhi Crime, Delhi Crime, Manto, Fairy Folk, Adhura, A Suitable Boy, Qissa The Tale of a Lonely Ghost and Once Again to name a few.

The actress is currently gearing up for much awaited Netflix web series Delhi Crime season 3. It also stars Shefali Shah, Tillotama Shome, Yashaswini Dayama and Rajesh Tailang in key roles.
