Rebel Box Office Collection Day 4: The directorial debut of Nikesh RS, hit theaters on March 22nd, featuring GV Prakash Kumar in a political action role. Mamitha Baiju stars opposite him as the female lead. The film's trailer hints at a storyline set in a college located in Chittur, Palakkad. It follows the journey of Kadhir (played by GV Prakash), one of the few Tamil students amidst a predominantly Malayali student body, who falls in love with Mamitha's character. Initially, the atmosphere appears peaceful, but it is disrupted by a sudden outbreak of violence between the Malayali and Tamil communities. As the situation becomes increasingly tense, Kadhir emerges as the 'rebel,' driven to advocate for his Tamil counterparts and pursue justice.

On day 4, the film earned Rs 0.2 crore. As per Sacnilk, the film had a strong performance in its initial four days, garnering an estimated Rs 1.07 crore in net earnings in India.
On the first Friday, the film grossed approximately Rs 0.2 crore. By the first Saturday, it increased to around Rs 0.32 crore, followed by Rs 0.35 crore on Sunday. Monday saw a slight dip to Rs 0.22 crore. Rebel (2024) had an overall 13.14% Tamil Occupancy on Monday, March 25, 2024.

The ensemble cast of 'Rebel' also features Venkitesh VP, Shalu Rahim, Karunas, Adhithya Baskar, Kalloori Vinoth, Subramaniya Siva, and other talented actors. Delving into its technical aspects, the film boasts cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Vetre Krishnan. Additionally, apart from his acting role, GV Prakash has composed the music for the film. The production efforts were spearheaded by KE Gnanavelraja, with co-production handled by Neha Gnanavelraja under their Studio Green banner.
