Retro Vs HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 1: Suriya’s Retro hit the theatres on May 1, facing a tough competition with HIT 3, starring Nani. The duo has been neck to neck in terms of their opening day box office performance. As Retro and HIT 3, both have received positive word of mouth, the audience has been distributed fairly in cinemas. Retro Box Office Collection
Retro has raked in Rs 19.25 crore nett across India on day 1, according to Sacnilk. The Tamil version alone contributed Rs 17.25 crore, while the Telugu version raked in Rs 1.95 crore and the Hindi version collected Rs 5 lakhs, making up the full Rs 19.25 crore figure.
HIT 3 Box Office Collection
Nani’s much-awaited Telugu movie HIT 3 has delivered a splendid performance at the box office. The movie has earned an impressive Rs 18 crore on opening day. HIT 3 has raked in maximum amount from the Telugu belt with Rs 17.25 collection, while Tamil belt contributed only 0.35 crore. The film raked in Rs 0.05 crore in Kannada language, while Rs 0.25 in Hindi belt and Rs 0.1 crore in Malayalam language.
Both the movies are going strong at the box office and it will be interesting to witness their performance this weekend. It is pertinent to note that Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 hit the theatres the same day and it is also performing well at the box office.
