PVR, INOX, & Miraj Chains To Not Screen Salaar In South? Prashanth Neel’s Salaar is all set to hit the theatres on December 22, 2023. The movie stars Prabhas, Shruthi Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles. The buzz surrounding Salaar is impressive, as evident from the trends on social media. But, the recent update regarding Salaar might land Prabhas’ fans into a shock. According to a recent update from Bollywood media, ‘Salaar’ film team is contemplating the withdrawal of the movie's release from PVR, Inox, and Miraj Cinemas in the southern states.

The reported reason behind this decision is the team's dissatisfaction with the perceived unfair distribution of screens in North India. This move strategically places considerable pressure on national cinema chains, compelling them to reconsider and ensure equitable screen allocations for both Dunki and Salaar. Failure to address this concern may result in substantial revenue loss for national chains, particularly from Salaar's release in the southern states, highlighting the significance of a fair and balanced approach to screen distribution.
