Salman Khan's Sikandar will be released on March 30, while Prithviraj Sukumaran's L2: Empuraan, also starring Mohanlal, is scheduled for release on March 27. The superstar has now reacted to the box office clash between his movie and the Malayalm thriller. 

Salman Khan stated in an interview with News18 that the Prithviraj-directed movie would be a 'excellent.' He said, "I love Mohanlal sir as an actor. Prithviraj is directing it, and I know that it’s going to be an excellent film."

Salman Khan also expressed his best wishes for the Sunny Deol movie Jaat, which opens in theaters on April 10th. "There's Jaat also coming post Sikandar. I wish all of them do well," he added. 

Prithviraj Sukumaran has already responded to the box office conflict between the two movies. The L2 Empuraan director, who referred to Salman Khan as 'one of the biggest stars of the country,' stated that he is supporting both movies and that there is no competition with one another. Meanwhile, L2: Empuraan is the second installment in the Lucifer franchise. The Mayalam movie delves into he past of Mohanlal's character, Stephen Nedumpally.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan makes his big-screen comeback with Sikandar following 2023 flop movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The upcoming action-thriller also stars Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna. AR Murugadoss is the director, and Sajid Nadiadwala is the producer. Sikandar will release worldwide on March 30th, 2025.
