Sikandar: Salman Khan's Sikandar received a UA 13+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently. A few changes have been made, but the board has not recommended any cuts to the AR Murugadoss directorial.

Sikandar producers have taken the unexpected decision to voluntarily shorten the movie's duration by 14 minutes and 28 seconds post receiving a censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The final edit is now 135 minutes and 47 seconds long after being cleared with a 150-minute runtime.

Sikandar will be released in theaters on March 30 after the following important changes:

Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna starrer will cut 26 scenes, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama. In fact a scene in which he performs the song 'Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh' has also been trimmed by eleven seconds.

A scene with the dialouge 'offer aukat ke bahar tha,' a 2-minute 26-second scene 'chaar miss call…chalo Rajkot,' a 1-minute 12-second scene 'usse leke aata hoon' and then also a 4-minute scene with the dialogue 'aa gaye aa gaye…bad husband' have also been omitted entirely. Lastly, the sentence 'yeh sirf sample tha'  has also been shortened by 40 seconds.

The CBFC board instructed the makers of Sikandar to omit the word 'home' from Home Minister whenever necessary and recommended that they obfuscate the political party hoarding in a scene. Earlier, the censor board approved the movie;s trailer, which was released on Sunday, without making any alterations.
