Sikandar: Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer action thriller movie is set to be released in theatres. The trailer of the anticipated film will be out on March 23. Ahead of the much-awaited release, CBFC has given a green signal to the movie. As per reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the UA 13+ certificate to Sikandar. This means viewers of all age groups aged 13 and above can watch the film in theatres. The run time of the movie has been also locked at 150.8 minutes. 

In an interview with Pinkvilla, the director of the film AR Murugadoss said “The first half of Sikandar is around 1 hour and 15 minutes and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The overall run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.” 

“With the trailer, we have to satisfy the first day first show audience and that’s our target. But that aside, we also want to convey that Sikandar is lot more than just a mass film – it’s an entertainer with repeat value. It’s a film with lots of emotion and we are targeting all section of audiences – from Salman sir fans, to masses, classes, and the family audience,” he added. 

AR Murugadoss also added, “I can’t reveal the story, but it is a mass film that will satisfy Salman sir fans, as well as film lovers and family audiences. We have targeted all section of audiences with Sikandar.” 



Sikandar is about a fiery youth, who confronts a powerful network of corruption. He challenges the status quo and fights for the common people's rights. The movie stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah and Chaitanya Choudhry in pivotal roles. The film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. As per reports, Sikandar was made on a budget of Rs 200 crore.
