Salman Khan is enduring a difficult period, grappling with numerous threats to his safety. A few months ago, a shooting occurred outside his home, raising alarms about his security. The recent assassination of politician Baba Siddique by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has further complicated matters for the actor. As a result, reports indicate that Salman has paused production on several projects, including Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss. However, seems like nothing can stop the 'Tiger' as he shoots in Mumbai today. Yes! you heard it right.
Following much speculation regarding Salman Khan's anticipated cameo in Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, Pinkvilla revealed that the Sikandar actor is currently filming his scenes today, October 22, 2024, in Mumbai.
Salman Khan death threats
For those unfamiliar, Salman Khan has been receiving death threats from members of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, with the most recent threat emerging following the murder of Mumbai politician Baba Siddique, who was close to Salman. Siddique was shot outside his son's office and later died from his injuries in the hospital. Consequently, Salman’s security has been significantly heightened.
Police reports indicate that five recently apprehended suspects had been in communication with conspirator Shubham Lonkar and mastermind Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, both of whom remain at large. Authorities have previously linked Akhtar to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and believe he played a crucial role in orchestrating Siddique's murder.
In a related development, the Mumbai Police received a threatening WhatsApp message demanding ₹5 crore from Salman to resolve his ongoing issues with Bishnoi. The message ominously warned that failing to pay could lead to dire consequences, worse than those faced by Baba Siddique, as reported by ANI.
