Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the beloved actress, recently found herself at the centre of a funny and heartfelt moment when a fan proposed to her on Instagram. This came shortly after the news of her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, getting engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8th. The fan, Mukesh Chintha, shared a hilarious reel where he expressed his desire to marry Samantha. The video, which quickly went viral, showed Mukesh playfully stating, “You miss 100 per cent of the shots you don’t take.”

The reel humorously depicted him on his way to Samantha’s house, vowing to always be there for her. He even staged a scene where he offered his heart at a gym, making a cheeky reference to Samantha's well-known love for fitness. The reel ends with Mukesh pleading for Samantha's hand in marriage, giving himself two years to become ‘financially independent’ before they tie the knot.

Samantha, known for her quick wit and charm, responded to Mukesh’s proposal with a lighthearted comment, “The gym in the background almost convinced me.” Her playful reply delighted Mukesh, who took to his Instagram Stories to express his joy, declaring, “If the world is against Samantha, then I am against the world.”

This exchange comes in the wake of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s engagement, which was officially announced on August 8th by Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya's father. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, who had been one of the most adored couples in the South Indian film industry, were married in 2017 after several years of dating. However, they announced their separation in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.
