Sanam Teri Kasam 2: Sanam Teri Kasam has been in the news ever since it was re-released on February 7, 2025. The movie, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane has now made more money than it did when it was first released, shattering its previous box office records.

Sanam Teri Kasam's Mawra Hocane, who portrayed the adored Saru, finally discussed the prospect of joining Harshvardhan Rane in a recent interview. The actress stated she was excited to participate in Sanam Teri Kasam 2, but she also mentioned she was willing to accept any casting decision.

In an open interview with Connect Cine, Mawra Hocane said, "If it’s possible for me to be a part of it, I’d love to, but even if it isn’t, there’s no hard feelings."

Mawra Hocane wished the crew well and expressed her hope that the sequel reaches even higher heights whether or not she is a part of the sequel. Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Sanam Teri Kasam was Harshvardhan Rane's first Hindi movie and Mawra Hocane's debut into Indian cinema. The tragic love story did not perform well when it was first released in theaters, only making Rs 9 crores.
